That’s Life

A family contemplates how different their lives are compared to their ‘Muzungu’ visitors. As peasants in rural Uganda, they rely solely on their land for survival – much of their daily nutrition comes from bananas and plantain from which they make a variety of dishes., the most famous being Matoke. Mirembe and her family (and a lot of the village who came to watch) were shy but kind and welcoming – a true pleasure to be able to give them some print outs of family photos and some contributions for their time.
